Still Learning To See

Morning light

Winter’s morning light is wonderful for two reasons. First, it happens later! Second, the sun is lower in the sky with more opportunity for back-lit situations. I’ve enjoyed being home  and watching the light change throughout the day.

Here are two photographs from this morning. The first of the western sky being lighted by the rising sun with my old friend the Black Locust tree in the foreground.

Of course, these winter days don’t last very long so I’d best get out while the light is still available!
