Still Learning To See

Wrapping my arms around people

If there is any upside to the debacle of the 2016 election, it may be that we can more easily see what is important, really important. Here are a people who are important to me. I know President-elect has people in his life that are important to him, but I’m concerned about all the fine people who are not on that list—women, gays, Muslims, on and on and on. These are the people who inspire me to wrap my arms wider and wider around all people.

A wonderful cross-section of humanity in these photos, John, all uplifting. I was at the Dulles airport this morning and was struck by the variety of beautiful faces from many different backgrounds and cultures.

  2. Very nice meditation! Thank you! La vie est belle!
