It has been a dismal winter for those of us who love winter. Not much snow, lots of gray and damp. I dug through photographs from previous winters and came across some gems to share. Snow, wind, shadows and different kinds of light.
I’ll be out of range of internet for the next couple of weeks but perhaps you can enjoy delving back into previous posts like I did with these snow photographs!
Wonderful light and shadow mixes, John. Not much snow here this year either. But it’s ok since they have trouble keeping up with anything more than a couple of inches. We haven’t had the usual amount of ice (more common than snow here) yet either. I’d say there’s still time, but usually by March spring is well started in southern CT.
John, our mutual friend Barbara Burnett forwarded me one of your posts, and I’ve been following “Still Learning To See” ever since. Thanks for taking the time to look closely, and share the beauty you see.
What poetic examples of line. They make me long for the snow we’ve barely had this year.
