Still Learning To See

Summer!

I’ve been unable to post here for a couple weeks due to poor internet activity (full disclaimer: I was in the Grand Canyon!) and then to a computer I/O board that died.

But I’m back up and running now and hoping soon to post some of the many photographs I made of “the ditch,” as the local rangers lovingly refer to the Canyon, and summer here in Vermont.

For now, I think this one image of leaves of a beech tree against a blue June sky will do just nicely, thank you!

Great colors! Are the darker green shadows in front of the chartreuse colored leaves?

  4. Yes, that is exactly what the dark areas are: shadows from one leaf onto another leaf.
