I’ve been unable to post here for a couple weeks due to poor internet activity (full disclaimer: I was in the Grand Canyon!) and then to a computer I/O board that died.
But I’m back up and running now and hoping soon to post some of the many photographs I made of “the ditch,” as the local rangers lovingly refer to the Canyon, and summer here in Vermont.
For now, I think this one image of leaves of a beech tree against a blue June sky will do just nicely, thank you!
Beautiful photo, John. Hurray for summer!
Thanks for that lovely photo John.. Looking forward to the scenes from the Canyon.. A very Sacred place!
Great colors! Are the darker green shadows in front of the chartreuse colored leaves?

Yes, that is exactly what the dark areas are: shadows from one leaf onto another leaf.
I always loved The Beach trees of Michigan too. Great picture John
Stunning light and shadow on these lovely leaves!
