The moon tonight will be full, but also the smallest of the year due to the distance from the Earth. Known by various names, worm moon, moose hunter moon, snow crust moon or sap moon, it will be lovely. Looks like the weather will clear and we’ll see it here tonight—once again in sub-zero temperatures, probably some of the last of the season—rising in the east just at sunset. I plan to enjoy it!
Still Learning To See 
Beautiful image. Still snowing hard here – we’re getting about double their prediction, so don’t think it will be clear enough to see the moon – but I’m going to check. Single digits here tonight, but overall the temps are gradually rising. And the sun is moving north – almost time to pull the shade on our north facing window!
It was like a spotlight at 10 PM tonight.
