Still Learning To See

What a wonderful world!

No one sings “What a wonderful world!” quite like Satchmo did. I never tire of listening to it. Part of what I hear in that song is about family. I was fortunate to once again spend a week with my wife’s family recently.

Many people are shocked that we actually enjoy spending that amount of time with our family! I tell them “I wouldn’t be anywhere else!” I know how fortunate we are to be a part of this great big old wonderful family.

“I think to myself, what a wonderful world.”

Liz's dad, in the middle, was really enjoying himself despite the fact that his face suggests otherwise. From his 95 years down to the newest, Malijah, who is 3 years old, it is an amazing family.
