A summer thunderstorm—given that a tree doesn’t get blown down and injure someone—is delightful. I just woke from a light nap, dipping in and out of sleep, all to the sound of pounding rain and the constant rumble of thunder just overhead. No trees down, no damage done, just a good soaking rain which we needed badly. How lovely!
