Still Learning To See

A few more patterns from the beach

Most of the patterns I saw at the beach in North Carolina were in shades of sandy brown or the whites, grays and blues of the sky, but a few of the green patterns were also quite beautiful, including a palm leaf and beach grass.

While I find these simple images pleasing, I’m also aware that the plants themselves are literally alive with complex stories that go way beyond any understanding that may come from a single photograph. I realize the more I “see” the more there is to be seen.
