Despite the 2′ of gorgeous snow still on the ground and miles and miles of tramping around on snowshoes this past week, something about the sun today—and wanting to test my recently repaired printer—caused me to dig back into some of my favorite photographs of flowers.
Here is a small gallery of Morning Glories (Convolvulaceae). I’m in no rush to get back to summer and it is lovely today to think about these little gems.
I’ve decided to publish this blog once or twice each week, rather than daily, and will include more galleries of several related images.
Reminds me o Georgia O’Keefe–except that she looked directly into the flower. I especially liked that spiral bud, waiting to open. Hopeful!
Exquisite! I especially love the still-furled blossom off to the side in the second picture. What beauties the morning glories are! hugs, K
