Still Learning To See

High on the views from the High Line

If the remarkable plantings are not enough of a delight on the High Line, the views of the neighborhoods and buildings are! Here’s proof.

Shadows and blue sky are a marvelous sight to behold on a sunny day!

One of several graffiti murals that can be seen from the High Line.

Not sure what this building is, but it IS a fabulous mirror of the surrounding world.

Sometimes the “lowest prices” are not the best view, though this one is complex and, at some level, interesting!

This view, to the north, is a bit more polished but I’m not sure it holds as much charm. Still, for better or worse, cityscapes are part of the view. Why not have them be something that will sustain us?

Even this billboard for Chrysler is worth looking at and I come from a state with no billboards!
