Tall Fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium) blankets the wet tundra along the McCarthy Highway.

Words were often unnecessary. 


Forms and light and contrasts and leading lines—all part of heaven for this photographer!


We watched the light change on Rainbow Ridge (north of Paxson) and for over two hours, enjoying every minute and making literally 300 photographs.
