Still Learning To See

Denali

Rob and I spent the day in Denali. Mount McKinley (20, 320ft) made a rare, and stunning, appearance. Seeing it at all, much less with only a few clouds, almost never happens. What a thrill.

breathtaking view! how lucky to see it without clouds. thanks for sharing. I’ve never been inland in AK.

  2. Yes, literally the wind took my breath away too! Back there again today and, surprise, Denali was visible again! Two days in a row are unheard of. I thought of you and Don often today as we hiked across the tundra.
