Still Learning To See

Another week of water

The Wonder of Water, my solo photography show at Highland Center for the Arts (HCA), comes down in a week! It has been a delight to have the 150+ photographs enjoyed. Many have been purchased and, again, this is a blatant invitation to all who read this to join that group that will have one or more of my images in your home or office.

Let me be clear, I am fortunate enough that I do not need to sell these. I am, however, very interested in having them enjoyed rather than end up in a drawer waiting for another opportunity to show them. They are all high-quality prints, mostly color, priced to be easy to buy ($30, $40, $50) and all unframed ready to either have matted and framed or simply hung as is on your wall! All of them at HCA are hung with magnets and small tacks but there are many other ways to hang them. The point is: get them up and in a place where you can enjoy seeing what I am still learning to see! People who have seen the show tell me they are seeing their world of water differently now that before—and that is delightful!

Speaking of that, here is an astonishing bit of information about water, a quote from Daniel Stone in Garrett Graff’s recently published book, UFO:

Water—whether solid, liquid or vapor—is unlike ANY other substance in the world (or the universe as we know it). You can see all of the images in the show either at HCA (open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 4:00) or at this link on my website. To order, just send me (jrsnell”at”gmail.com) a frame grab of the image(s) you want and the size and I’ll be in touch about how to make it happen. Thank you for your continued support.
