Still Learning To See

On ice

Temperatures in the mid-teens the past couple of nights made it likely there would be ice along many of the edges of the streams. I was not disappointed!

The beautiful patterns vary depending on many factors, especially interruptions to flow and how the water splashes on the surroundings.

Even the ice on several puddles was stunningly gorgeous!

It will be colder tonight so, before we get a cover of snow and weather cold enough so the streams are all frozen over, I’ll get out again and see what other fascinating ice I can find.

I just said to Bruce, “You should see John’s photos of ice.” His response…”He’s a pretty talented dude.”

  2. I’d love to see what the ice on your little stream looks like!
