The year past has been full to overflowing in many ways—family, world events, local volunteering. What keeps me steady still is learning to see the often gorgeous world around. I’ve spent part of the past week looking back over the more than 5000 images I had made and kept and selecting about 500 that I’m very pleased with sharing.
I’ll post some here but am also planning a slide show at the upcoming Montpelier Alive Art Walk on December 6th. During Art Walk artists mount shows in various locations around town, both commercial and government spaces, usually drawing a great turnout of folks wandering from site to site—26 total this time—in the late afternoon and early evening.
I’m paired with Caledonia Spirits, a new site to Art Walk and in a new building where they distill Barr Hill Gin among other liquors. I’m pleased to be working with them in their lovely space to share my photographs.
The theme? “Once Around—Images of the Year Past.” The selection of images includes many gems—aerials, snow, fall foliage, flowers and reflections in water—much of it made right in our backyard and Central Vermont or on travels I was fortunate to make!
If you are in town, I hope you’ll join me. If not, I’ll be sharing many more of them here between now and the end of the year. Thank you for enjoying my work.
Thankfulness must extend to receiving these posts, for sure, beautiful images!
