Still Learning To See 
John, what a wonderful blog. I can now face the day. Thank you for reminding me to keep seeing the beauty around me in the midst of this nightmare. I just used your bi-line- still learning to see- in talking to a class of art students I teach. How applicable the title to so much. Of course I gave you credit! I appreciate the way you see in a time calling for pure rage at the bloodless coup d’etat that has just occurred. Your thoughtful words from a deep place in your heart are a gentle reminder of how much is at stake. .
