Were you the phantom John? School kids? Were the hearts on the inside of the glass or on the outside? Did the shops put them up before going home last night? Regardless, it looks cool and small town cuteness!
Yes, lots of fun. The Phantom(s) is not known publicly but someone did it for years until last year when we all woke up and no hearts! The high school kids freaked out and took it upon themselves to hang them on the morning of Valentine’s Day. Not sure who did it this year but had to have been a dozen or more people given the fact that there were hundreds all over town. They are all taped to the outside of the windows in the wee hours of the night. Over the next few days most will disappear, typically into peoples homes and then it is all gone! Poof!! It was -20F last night and lots of wind. I can’t imagine how anyone did it.
