Some really terrific photos, John. I was there last year, and had a good laugh at seeing a huge – what we would call snow plow – removing sand off the road after a wind storm the night before.
Yes, the stuff piles up—750′ high! Fun also to see people sand boarding down the dunes in much the same way snow boarders here work, although much slower and no chair lifts!
