Still Learning To See

Reflections on autumn

Those who follow my wanderings here probably know how much I enjoy photographing reflections in water. This time of year, with autumn leaves at peak here in Vermont, I am in heaven! And a special “seat in heaven” most years is a trip or two to a small stream near Morrisville, VT where the texture of the water and the relationship of the mixed hardwoods along the shore create a way I can see into other, magical worlds. I trust you’ll agree.

Note: And for those who wonder about my “photographic purity,” I don’t have to manipulate the images in Lightroom beyond slight adjustments to have the finished images show what I’m seeing in my viewfinder.

Gorgeous!!! I love reflections, too. I’ve been taking some shots but colors haven’t budged yet in southern CT.

These remind me of a Monet painting! Love, Chica
