These mornings are often foggy, quite common in the Fall. The closeness of it feels like a cocoon, a place to slowly begin getting ready for the coming winter. But the evenings—as energy radiates and temperatures drop—are more often crystal clear, leaving the sky a scrim behind this stage of mine and clouds and silhouetted trees and mountains the scenery in this last act of summer.
