Still Learning To See

Glorious gardens

This time of year the gardens are glorious.

Here are a few photographs to show where I often spend an hour or two weeding, watching or hanging out with camera and tripod. It is a wild and crazy place on all sides that bursts with beauty, diversity and life. No sounds of lawn mowers here!

The past few weeks, we’ve particularly enjoyed seeing the Cardinal Flowers bloom, also a favorite of the two Ruby-throated Hummingbirds that whir through the yard all day long.
