Whenever possible, I sit by the window seat on flights. Sometimes dirty windows or wings mean photographs are impossible, but much of the time a whole new world is right there waiting to be seen!

Turning back to the west to land at O’Hare brought the Chicago skyline into view just as the sun was setting through low clouds
