Still Learning To See

Reflecting on Fall

Thank you for your patience with my absence. I spent a remarkable morning with my good friend and photography pal, Rob, today. We visited a spot long a favorite of mine near Cady’s Falls. The water was perfect and, after waiting for a couple hours, the light brightened and it became a day I’ll long remember.

Literally I waded in and feasted. Below are a few of the images, all of which I’m thrilled with.

A note to mention that the only adjustments I’ve made are slight ones to brightness and contrast—it is the water and the Fall foliage that create the magic, not Photoshop!

The reflections of the leaves in the water is spectacular. What a remarkable time of year.

  3. Beautiful. Abstract photography at its best!
