Over the past few weeks I’ve enjoyed seeing a many simple lines and relationships and have managed to make photographs of a few of them. I do find there are times when I simply need to put the camera down, mainly when I seem to be seeing the whole world in a 2:3 aspect ratio! Regardless, the simple relationships of form that exist at nearly every turn just feel so satisfying.
When lines blur, other patterns can be revealed, like the reflections of a tree in the water.
I could probably be happy photographing cattails for the rest of my life!

The only thing missing from this photo is the loon’s call piercing the quiet.

And how many evenings are graced with form like this? Many!
