There are times when I happen to be in the perfect place at the right time. We watched this stunning sunset—no Photoshop here!—from the street right in front of our house. Perfect! The clouds are call “mammatocumulus.”

I had read about these “mammary clouds”, but have never seen them. This picture is simply stunning, John–you certainly were at the perfect place at the right time!
I’ve seen them several times since but never with this kind of color.
