I made this pair of images shortly after takeoff from the San Francisco airport. Both are good reasons to always grab a window seat and leave the shade up! These are images of the salt flats, the red and yellow being the color of algae that grow in them. The power lines and their shadows were all the better!

I am grateful to able to see scenes like this out a window and make images of them.
