Still Learning To See

A few more of Fall in Vermont

If I were dropped on some planet and shown this seen, I’d never believe it could happen. It does!

As the sun and the shadows of the clouds move over the mountainside, magic happens.

I love the contrast with the distant mountain (“Oh purple mountains…”) and the patchwork of the foreground.

Nearly every view charms me.

The end of Fall and the beginning of what is next.

  1. Ah, I’m thinking of the old Byrds song, “To everything turn, turn, turn–there is a season…” I sat with the wind and leaves today–leaf-fall is as amazing as a snowfall.
