Leaves are changing colors—fast! Wow. I never know the answer to the inevitable question “How will the foliage be this year?” Thus far it seems very promising.
I want to see Fall with new eyes this year. I don’t know what that might look like but I’m willing to discover it. There is nothing wrong with the way I’ve seen Fall in the past, and I certainly enjoy the evolution of my seeing over the years. Let’s face it, some parts of Fall are just stunning no matter how I see.
The Vermont landscape is so much a part of the season. Fall is more than just bright colors on trees. With colder days and longer nights, we all know what’s coming but we have these few weeks of splendid grace in which to get ready. That said, I find landscapes tricky, so easy to be trite. I’ll use my “new” eyes and see what I can see this Fall.
