I’ve found it challenging to not use superlatives the past few days! Paxson has been a great base to explore, both north and west. The views along the Denali Highway are beyond my abilities to write about them. In leu of that, here are several photographs, near and far.
Glaucus Gentian (Gentiana glauca), small and as open as it gets but, nonetheless, a stunningly beautiful shade of blue. This was one of a hundred species in bloom in the area.
