I love to see and make photographs of abstractions, whether in the natural or built world. When pieces are taken out of context, the new relationships formed often interest me and sometimes really get my attention. I made this photograph of part of a large door in North Wales, a lovely balance of color, shape and texture with a bit of mystery thrown in for good measure.

Love the shapes, color, and the tidbit of the mail slot–makes me want to imagine what sort of mail would come to such an “Alice in Wonderland” door 🙂
