Light, in all its forms and qualities, is a gift!

I love the way sunlight come through leaves and flowers while also being reflected off them. The colors and their qualities are so different for each type of light. And even translucent light, soft or hard, dappled or direct, varies so much as to almost be a living thing!

At Saturday’s Farmers Market I was pleased to again see our friend Gabe Cole, a gifted 2nd-generation glass artist. He not only works glass but also conjures the sun, clearly a shameless marketing ploy based on both the exceptional quality of his work and the magic of translucence.

Light is a gift!
