Tonight is clear and temperatures could drop into the low 20s. The natural world has evolved to deal with weather like this but in the short run it is hard to watch. The silver lining in all the cold weather last week was that things slowed down and, as a result, may not be so badly damaged by the cold tonight.
Camel's Hump was covered in snow this morning, a contrast to the greens of the lower hills.
