Still Learning To See

While XC skiing today—cold but in bright, bright sun—I thought about how difficult it is lately to find the words I want. Seeing the intense light on the snow and the contrast of the black shadows, what can I say? I’ll let my photographs speak for me today.

The tracks of a pair of River Otters show 8' long slides. They'd travelled over a quarter mile this way from one shore to the other and then slipped down under the ice..
