The view from here last night of the partial lunar eclipse was beautiful. My photographs of same, not so beautiful! The web of life is always much better, of course, in reality than on a screen, what with the breeze, the Fall smells, the sounds of night!

I did enjoy a walk though the yard with my camera yesterday and offer these few images as proof of the concept of truth: “that which is true or in accordance with fact or reality.” These images are real, not generated with artificial intelligence. Unlike much of the outright lies and other political nonsense we’ve heard from Trump and Vance, all of these are true and real—in short what you’d see if you were by my side in the lovely early Fall morning in Vermont.

The fact is life on Earth depends on the Sun rising every morning and shining energy down on us. The fact is that energy is used by plants as they grow and by the animals that eat the plants along the way. The fact is the world is diverse because life adapts in various ways to soak up more and more of that energy. The fact is all this is, within bounds, quite predictable, and, thanks to careful observation and science, knowable. The fact is that has been for thousands of years. The many seeds I find this time of year are a testament to these facts. All this is, quite simply, what is true about life.

Truth. It can be this simple when we let ourselves just be here and now…and, of course, when we cast our vote for reality vs. lies. Please feel free to share this post with others who will recognize how, together, we can continue to nurture the joy of this remarkable life we share.
The colors are amazing!
Thanks. Lots of brown due to the lack of rain but I think it will be a lovely foliage season! Hugs
