What a gift curiosity is. It gets me to the top of the hill to see the other side or abound the bend, so to speak, to see what’s next. I’m still learning to let curiosity edge out my initial, hesitant response to many new situations and then take me to new places beyond.
I love this photograph, which I made in Wales over six years ago. To this day am still curious about who lives behind the door and what kind of mail passes through the dark slot. Mostly, however, I just enjoy seeing a delightfully colorful and interesting composition.
