I landed here in Anchorage last night with my friend and photography buddy Rob. As we walked some of the kinks out of our travel weary bodies, we were rewarded, after a day of mostly rain, with a lovely view of the tide out along the shore SW of Anchorage looking out over Cook Inlet.
Denali was in the clouds—not unusual—but there is always tomorrow when we’ll head down to Kodiak and more adventures.

Ah, what a wonderful time lies ahead! John Muir once said, “To the lover of wilderness, Alaska is one of the most wonderful countries in the world.” Wishing you joy in YOUR turn with such wonder.
Beautiful…awaiting more
Oh my! My heart aches with the beauty of the multitudes of blues and greens in your picture. Thank you for giving us this image! /K
