Moving on

Many of the trees and shrubs are moving on from flowering to forming seeds to budding out their leaves. Seeing all this comes with patience and looking closely!

The forsythia flowers fade as leaves burst forth.

The flowers of the Boxelder Maple (Acer negundo) mature and begin to give way to tiny winged seeds and new leaves.
